Job Title: Grain Intern
Reports to: Grain Department Manager
Summary: This seasonal position assists the daily activities involved in the New Vision Grain Department. This position will assist with grain operations and grain origination efforts for New Vision Co-op.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Must have a H.S. Diploma/GED and be currently enrolled in Ag Business, or other Agricultural related degree program.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn company-specific programs.

Valid driver’s license.

Background or experience with Agriculture crop production.
