Description

POSITION PURPOSE

Manage all aspects of the food production for all meal service, including food preparation and service duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or First Cook in accordance to this job description. Adhere to Provincial and Federal sanitation practices at all times.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner. Set up station with predetermined mise en place required to service all meal time functions. Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure that customer satisfaction is met.


Requirements

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS


Education


High school or equivalent education required.

Some culinary training required but not an asset


Experience


Minimum two years cooking experience required.

Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Licenses or Certificates

Food Safe Certificate

First Aid w/CPR & AED
