About the Position
The Associate Director of Stewardship leads the SF Parks Alliance Stewardship team and oversees SFPA’s Community Partner Network which consists of 80+ public space stewardship projects that are fiscally sponsored by SFPA. The Associate Director supervises multiple Area Managers who are each responsible for the ongoing relationship management with Project Directors of fiscally sponsored projects and act as general liaisons for SFPA with community members, organizations, and government agencies. The Associate Director is the primary relationship manager for a small group of projects at the “Core Partner” level who have full-time staff on SFPA payroll and larger budgets and project scopes. The Associate Director works closely with the Director to establish goals, priorities, and strategies for the Community Partner Network and to deepen the impact of community-based stewardship of public spaces in San Francisco.

SF Parks Alliance offers competitive market-based salaries which are commensurate with experience, skills, industry, and organizational budget as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes a generous vacation policy, medical, dental, vision, chiropractic/acupuncture, commuter benefits, a flexible spending account, Basic Life/AD&D insurance, and 401(k) employer contributions. This position is benchmarked at an annual equivalent salary of $100k to $140k depending on experience.
