The Department of Health & Exercise Science invites applications for a tenure-track position in Health & Exercise Science at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position begins in August of 2022. The department is committed to excellent and engaging instruction and total student development. Tenure-track positions are academic year appointments (August-May). The selected candidate will be responsible for:
· A 4-4 teaching schedule of introductory and upper level courses in Westminster College Health & Exercise department (some cross listed with the Education department) as well as college service courses.
· Contributing to Westminster Seminar- our first-year student program.
· Contributing to our undergraduate research program.
· An earned doctorate or advanced ABD in Health & Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field is required by the time of appointment.
· Evidence of excellent teaching experience at the collegiate level is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Overview of Allocated Time: Instruction (60%), Service (20%), Creative and Scholarly Activity (20%)
