Mann Eye Institute is seeking a full-time, Ophthalmic Technician to join our Sugarland and St. Luke's teams. We are looking for a technician who is ready to start a career and grow with our company.

Our Ophthalmic Technicians will work alongside our physicians to deliver outstanding patient care. Our ideal candidate would be positive, energetic, enjoy working with patients of all ages, and have excellent communication skills.

It is our goal to offer our patients the most advanced technology available to help them See Life Better. Our board-certified ophthalmologists and optometrists work side by side to treat our patients.

Ophthalmic Technician’s Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Obtaining basic patient medical history information
  • Patient work-ups including obtaining tonometry, visual acuity, and manual refraction
  • Obtaining diagnostic testing imaging to determine the structure and function of the eye
  • Educate patients on surgical options and advanced technologies
