The Audio Visual Technician will be working with audio visual equipment in a hotel or other fast-paced, challenging location. The Technician will work directly with our hotel and meeting customers to provide unique and excellent service. Our technicians are the driving force that continues AVMS success and distinction from other Audio Visual service providers.

The Technician will be responsible for the set-up and operation of audio visual equipment according to AVMS standard operational procedures. The candidate will meet with our customers to review the equipment operations and ensure complete customer service satisfaction. During their tenure, the successful technician will strive to develop a working knowledge of company inventory and all other related equipment.
You will be responsible for operating equipment as needed, according to client’s specifications while ensuring all safety measures have been followed. You will review and explain invoicing to clients. Obtain signatures and assist with order entry/billing system as needed. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with set-up staff on proper placement of equipment in a professional venue.
He/she will possess the necessary organizational skills to assist in keeping the office and storage areas neat, clean, and safe. The Technician will account for all inventory before, during and after each event.

The Technician position will require a broad range of physical abilities including bending, sitting, and standing for up to 4 hours at a time (additional description of physical duties available upon request). The ability to lift 50 pounds and must be 18 years old at time of hire.
