We are looking for a talented, curious, and strategic marketer to join our Channel Marketing team as Content Marketing Lead. In this role, you’ll have the chance to showcase your marketing acumen and creative skills to help our clients leverage strategic content to achieve their business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop content strategies that deliver on our clients’ business goals, focusing on target audiences, key messaging pillars, and meaningful measurement across owned, earned, and paid media channels.

· Use audience research tools and human-centered methods to build personas and decision journey maps that reveal the best opportunities to deploy strategic content. 

· Conduct content audits across all marketing channels to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for using strategic content to advance our clients’ objectives. 

· Create messaging frameworks for key personas and develop content that maps to the  moments, experiences, and activities that trigger responses. 

· Work with cross-functional teams to establish and articulate our clients’ key messages, then ensure that content is aligned with those messages. 

· Collaborate with editors, writers, UX designers, SEO researchers, content management system developers, and other team members to deliver stories that are aligned with our client’s brand voice and strategy and adhere to channel best practices.

· Build editorial calendars for clients to manage content, and work with them implement.

· Regularly measure and analyze content marketing performance to demonstrate results and develop data-driven insights to guide future content strategies.

· Provide strategic counsel to our clients, establishing yourself as an expert on all things content marketing and supporting account growth.

· Assist with new business pitches, as needed.

· Maintain accountability for hours worked each day, with awareness of account billability rates. Manage personal hours, budgets and timelines appropriately.


Requirements


· Experience developing robust content strategies, from researching target audiences and creating personas to building out decision journey maps and conducting content audits.

· Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and storytelling in different brand voices for target audiences; also, developing and delivering client presentations. 

· Experience developing, creating, and editing strategic content for target audiences across platforms, including websites, multimedia and social media.

· Experience in developing content assets for use in customer relationship management systems and marketing automation systems preferred. 

· Experience with Resonate, NetBase, Mintel and similar consumer research platforms preferred.

· Experience with SEO tools including Google Adwords and Keyword Planner, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Search Console, MOZ, WebTrends 

· Ability to digest and understand multi-channel media plans to collaborate on content recommendations

· Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams.

· Strong project management skills, attention to detail and a highly organized workstyle. 


Education/Experience:

· Minimum five years of content marketing experience or equivalent

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field

· Previous agency experience a plus

· Experience with account-based marketing preferred
