Housekeeping Supervisor (Seasonal / Temporary)

Job Summary:

Work where guests come to rest and reset. Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations in a peaceful, high-desert setting.

You will oversee room cleanliness, staff performance, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, casitas, and public spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong opportunity to build supervisory experience in a destination resort known for wellness and hospitality.

Northern New Mexico, about 50 miles north of Santa Fe

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support housekeeping and laundry operations
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality
  • Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members
  • Assist with cleaning duties as needed based on occupancy
  • Maintain cleaning schedules and department organization
  • Submit maintenance work orders and follow up
  • Manage inventory of linens and supplies
  • Prepare weekly staff schedules
  • Update room status in property systems
  • Respond quickly to guest requests and service needs
  • Ensure safety, sanitation, and operational standards are followed

Schedule & Season:

  • Seasonal or temporary role based on business demand
  • Full-time hours, varies with occupancy
  • Weekend and holiday availability required

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of housekeeping supervisory experience in hotel or resort
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe use
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout large property
  • Valid driver capability for golf cart use
  • Flexible schedule, weekends required
