Brand Manager

Description

  

The Brand Manager will be responsible for executing marketing plans and capabilities for CPC’s owned CPG brands and partners. The BM will assist with strategic business planning, P&L management, national promotional planning, and marketing strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Director and other CPC cross-functional team members. This role will have the support from an Assistant Brand Manager as well as internal and external marketing/creative teams.

Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Manage day to day execution of marketing tactics including but not limited to digital ads, social media, search, print, PR/influencers, email and website marketing

· Brief and work collaboratively with internal graphic designers and external agencies on creative assets, marketing plans and tactical execution

· Help manage the new product development process from initial inception through commercialization including close collaboration with cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, etc.) 

· Assist with inventory planning and management, promotional strategies, and media budget / P&L management

· Monitor and analyze brand KPI’s and metrics, proactively alerting team of issues and opportunities

· Manage an Assistant Brand Manager (with the potential to manage an expanded team in the future) 

· Help drive growth and profitability of our brands

· Other responsibilities as assigned by Marketing Director/Senior Management

Skills:

· Working knowledge of marketing tactics such as digital media, search, social, TV, print, PR, etc.

· Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

Requirements

  

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Marketing degree required

· 3-5 years work experience in Marketing and Brand Management

· Experience in managing projects in partnership with internal teams to completion

· Experience with launching a new brand or bringing new products to market

Work Environment:

· Hours/Travel may be subject to change based on management/company discretion. 

· Work location are subject to change as needed to meet business requirements. 

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, bend, sit, talk, hear or walk for long periods. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 

· For exempt employees, casual or incidental overtime worked is not compensable. When these extra efforts are either infrequent or of short duration, it is expected that exempt Employees will consider these extra hours per day, part of their professional employee/Company relationship and extend their efforts without additional compensation.
