Job Description

SmartRent is looking to add a Regional Sales Director (North East Region) who will oversee and grow enterprise level accounts within their given territory. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth and accountable for the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and drive new business sales. 


  • Establish, own and navigate buying committee relationships 
  • Lead in depth discovery discussions to better understand our clients business operations, identifying true pain points for our partners to expertly diagnose the proper solutions
  • Partner with our Solutions Engineers team for in depth technical conversations and understanding of our clients work flow and how we seamlessly integrate
  • Become an expert not only in SmartRent solutions, but in SmartHome technology to take a truly consultative approach for our industry partners
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Account Managers and more to build strategic business plans for customers to execute deals and get across the finish line faster
  • Attend industry events and conferences with other sales and marketing team members
  • Have fun doing quality work with a rapidly growing company, selling the best SmartHome solution available in the industry, on an amazing team!



  • 7+ years as a sales hunter (new logo/new revenue acquisition) Experience managing a pipeline and closing SaaS contracts in excess of $100K
  • The ability to develop C-Suite level relationships quickly and effectively
  • Experience presenting to C-suite executives at leading enterprise companies
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple opportunities at various stages of the buying process
  • An ALL-IN mentality, ready to hit the ground running, have some fun and crush your goals as a team and individual contributor
  •  Multi-family or Single Family experience a major plus, but not required 
  • Hardware sales experience a plus, but not required.
