Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Analytics Coordinator assists the analytics team in running standard list processing requests, performing quality control procedures on client data and preparing standard analytics reports. The Analytics Coordinator also assists the analytics team in creating simple queries and responding to internal client teams' requests. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Running standard list processing requests on time and accurately
  • Running quality control reports for client data files, reviewing them with internal client teams and updating as needed
  • Preparing standard analytics reports
  • Developing and running simple queries for the analytics and client service teams
  • Managing the acquisition match-back process with external data vendors
  • Maintaining standards to ensure accuracy and data privacy

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly operates a computer and other office equipment and remains in a stationary position, often sitting (or standing if at a standing desk) for prolonged periods; communication is via email, chat, phone, video, and/or in-person with others inside and outside the agency in order to exchange information; repetitive motions may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers in order to operate computer equipment, copy machines, and printers. Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required in the following areas: SQL, data management and/or Excel
  • Required experience & knowledge:
    • SQL
    • Tableau
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional Preferred (but not required) Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge and understanding of the following programs, platforms, and/or tools: PostgreSQL, nonprofit fundraising data

ABOUT COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • A starting salary range of between $50,000 - $56,000, with performance evaluations and review of salary at least annually

MWD gets it all done from our offices in Berkeley CA, Washington DC, and we also have a permanent remote workforce. Currently, though, due to COVID-19, our entire staff is working from home. When MWD offices re-open, we will continue a hybrid working model that balances the flexibility, ease, and convenience of remote work with the relationship-building, collaboration, and development that deepen from regular in-person interactions between our team members. We envision our staff will generally work 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days from home. 


Our Working Locations:

  • This is a full-time position working from our office in either Berkeley, CA or Washington, DC, with flexible work-from-home for all our employee-owners.
