In this full-time position, based out of your home office in eastern Tennessee, you will provide our physician policyholders with practice management services including in-depth practice data analysis. You will assist, develop and present educational seminars for our policyholders, primarily in Tennessee, but also at our other southeast regional events.
Along with other members of the Nashville-based corporate office, you will develop products and services for our physician policyholders and analyze and benchmark data.
You’ll maintain the four-decade tradition our policyholders have come to expect in terms of the highest level of client care and prompt attention to telephone or email inquiries. Whether in their medical practice or virtual, our policyholders are accustomed to technically robust and easy-to-understand assessments of their needs to allow their practices to provide the best care to their patients.

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field and minimum of five years physician practice management experience preferred or Associate’s Degree and 10 years physician practice management experience required.
Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) required; Fellow American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) preferred.
Human Resources Professional Certification highly desired. Certified Professional Coder, American Academy of Professional Coders or similar designation a plus.
Current driver’s license, ability to operate motor vehicle required.
Must reside in, or be willing to locate to, eastern Tennessee.
Fifty percent travel required as you serve policyholders across the SVMIC coverage area. Frequent travel to our Nashville corporate office is also expected.
