JOB TITLE: Staffing Coordinator
EMPLOYER: Twelfth One, LLC dba Aspen Infusion

REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing
SUMMARY: The Customer Service/Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all home infusion cases are staffed for services. Receives requests for home infusion care services from intake/pharmacy and schedules or reschedules as necessary. Other home care services may be required; the staffing coordinator will participate in all staffing needs. Confirms and verifies schedules with nursing personnel and verifies that all home care visits are made and confirmed in patients EMR. Responsible for entering and maintaining schedules in the scheduling system and or equivalent. May assist in routing calls, information, and people to the appropriate staff person.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients.
- Receives requests for home care services and schedules/reschedules RN’s as necessary for any changes or needs.
- Coordinates patient care with all disciplines involved with excellent customer service
- Coordinates and communicates patient information necessary for scheduling purposes for nursing services and/or home health needs.
- Determine correct resolution to patient complaints; take corrective action and monitor results.
- Documentation is maintained with patient records with all pertinent information as directed.
- Communicate with the billing department to ensure proper billing to insurance companies, contracts, other third-party payers and patients for all products and services delivered; maintain accurate billing records.
- Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
- Participate in the company’s Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.
- Participate in company committees when requested.
- Participate in in-service education programs provided by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Complies with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, ACHC, HIPAA and Documentation Standards. Maintains a commitment to the values and mission of Aspen Infusion
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
- Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
- Computer skills that include proficiency with spreadsheets and use of the internet, as well as word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
- Scheduling and or coordination of care experience in the healthcare industry.
- Strong computer skills.

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee must occasionally lift/move up to 30 pounds.
