Knowing you are changing the world, even if it’s just for one person, is incredibly rewarding. At The Faison Center, a nationally recognized leader in disability services across the lifespan, it happens daily. We spend our days creating life changing opportunities for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. As a teaching assistant working in our Peninsula School you will implement instructional and communication-development activities throughout the day, supporting key skills for growth.
Artists who need afternoons and weekends to work on their craft, musicians who are in bands and need time to practice and play, aspiring special education teachers and clinicians—all of these great people and those with other interests, backgrounds and experiences have a place to work at The Faison Center.
