The Moaddel Law Firm, (“We”, “Us”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice (together with any other documents referred to herein) sets out the basis on which the personal data collected from you, or that you provide to Us, will be processed by Us in connection with our recruitment processes. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

When you apply for a job opening posted by Us, these Privacy Notice provisions will apply to our processing of your personal information in addition to our other general Privacy Notice, which can be found at Moaddel Firm Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

When you apply for a job with us, We collect some or all of the following types of information from you:

  • Contact information, such as name, email address, address, and telephone number.
  • Information related to your qualifications, work experience and skills, employment history, and educational history.
  • Work authorization status.
  • Information related to references.
  • Professional and other work-related licenses, permits, and certifications.

  • A record of your progress through any hiring process that we may conduct.
  • Your video interview in case your interview was performed through the video interview feature.
  • Information regarding your use of our website, as described in the Online Tracking Technology section below.

How We Collect Information

We collection information about you in a range of ways, including the following:

  • Directly from You. We collect personal information you provide during the job application and recruitment process. This includes information provided through an online job site, via email, in person at interviews and/or by any other method. You are responsible for the information you provide to Us and ensuring that it is accurate and not misleading in any way.
  • Using Online Tracking Technologies. When you visit our website, open or click on emails we send you, or interact with our job application process, we automatically collect certain information using online tracking technologies.   • From Our Business Partners. We may obtain information from businesses that we partner with or work with, such as platforms used to collect application information, including Paylocity; online job posting websites, such as Indeed, and similar service providers (“Partners”); and recruiters.
  • Other Sources. We may obtain information from references you provide Us, from a third party who recommends you as a candidate, and law enforcement agencies.

Online Tracking Technology

We and our third–party partners and service providers use cookies and other tracking technologies, such as pixel tags, web beacons, browser analytics tools, and server logs (collectively, “online tracking technologies”) to gather information when you interact with our website. This information includes traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, the site that referred you, and the resources that you access.  

You can typically remove and reject cookies from our website with your browser settings. Many browsers are set to accept cookies until you change your settings. If you remove or reject our cookies, it could affect how our website works for you.

 

How We Use Your Information

  • To consider your application in respect of a role for which you have applied.
  • To consider your application in respect of other roles.
  • To communicate with you in respect of the recruitment process.
  • To find qualified candidates to fill our job openings.
  • To help our service providers (such as Paylocity and its processors and data providers) and Partners (such as the job sites through which you may have applied) improve and develop their services (including the use of aggregate data).
  • Conduct criminal history, background, and employment checks, if we offer you a position.  
  • Comply with or monitor our compliance with any applicable law or regulation. 

Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • We may share personal information with your consent. 
  • We may share personal information with third-party service providers, such as Paylocity, that we believe need the information to perform a technology, business, or other professional function for us, including managing our recruitment process.
  • We may share personal information with our Partners related to your recruitment and job application. Any use by the Partner of your data will be in accordance with the Partner’s privacy policy.
  • We may share personal information where necessary to comply with applicable law, to respond to requests from law enforcement agencies or other government authorities or third parties, as permitted by law, and without your consent when it is necessary to protect our clients, employees, or property; in emergency situations; or to enforce our rights under our policies.
  • We may share personal information with our affiliates, or when we do a business deal, or negotiate a business deal, involving the sale or transfer of all or a part of our business or assets. These deals can include any merger, financing, acquisition, or bankruptcy transaction or proceeding.

Security

We implement the appropriate organizational, technical, and physical security measures and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the personal information entrusted to us. Although We will do our best to protect your personal data, We cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted through any online means, therefore any transmission remains at your own risk.

How Long We Keep Your Information

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), including but not limited to, the right to request a list of all third parties to which we have disclosed certain personal information during the preceding year.

Changes to this Notice

We reserve the right to modify, alter, or update the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice from time to time without prior notice. We will post those changes on this page in addition to updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this webpage. Modifications shall become effective immediately upon posting.
