RECRUITING TEXT MESSAGING PRIVACY POLICY

This Recruiting Text Messaging Privacy Policy explains how Emerald Auto, LLC ("Emerald Auto," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when job applicants and candidates opt in to receive text messages about their application. Recruiting text messages are sent through our applicant tracking system, Paylocity Recruiting.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you apply for a position or opt in to text messaging, we may collect:

•  Your name and mobile phone number

•  The date, time, and method of your consent to receive text messages

•  The content of text messages you send to us and that we send to you

•  Information related to your application, such as the position you applied for and the status of your application

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your mobile number and related information only to communicate with you about your job application and the hiring process. Messages may include:

•  Confirmation that we received your application

•  Interview scheduling, reminders, and changes

•  Requests for additional information or documents needed to complete your application

•  Updates on the status of your application and next steps in the hiring process

We do not use your mobile number to send marketing or promotional messages.

CONSENT TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES

You will receive recruiting text messages only if you opt in, for example by checking the text messaging consent box on our job application or by otherwise agreeing to receive text messages from us. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of applying for employment or of being hired.

MESSAGE FREQUENCY AND CHARGES

Message frequency varies based on your application and the stage of the hiring process. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

OPTING OUT AND GETTING HELP

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you will receive one final message confirming your request, and we will not send further text messages unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us using the information below.

Opting out of text messages does not withdraw your application. We may continue to contact you about your application by email or phone.

SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This exclusion applies to every other category of information described in this policy.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate our recruiting text messaging program, such as Paylocity and its messaging providers, and only to the extent needed to deliver messages to you. These providers are not permitted to use your information for any other purpose. We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process.

DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Access to applicant information is limited to the people involved in the hiring process.

DATA RETENTION

We retain applicant information, including text message records and consent records, for as long as needed to complete the hiring process and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
