Cometeer, Inc. (“Cometeer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who apply for employment with us. This Candidate Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information in connection with our recruiting and hiring activities, including our use of text messaging communications facilitated through Paylocity.

2. Text Message Communications

With your consent, Cometeer may contact you via text message in connection with your candidacy. Our text messaging program is powered by Paylocity technology and is subject to the following terms:

Opt-In

Text messages will only be sent to candidates who have opted in to receive them. By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to text communications, you agree to receive recruiting-related text messages from Cometeer.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us, or by contacting us directly at hr@cometeer.com. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages from our recruiting team through this program.

Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary based on the status of your application and recruiting activity. Messages will be sent during normal business hours.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Cometeer is not responsible for any charges incurred through your mobile carrier.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To evaluate your application and qualifications for employment
  • To communicate with you about your application, interview scheduling, and recruiting updates
  • To conduct background and reference checks where applicable and permitted by law
  • To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
  • To improve our recruiting and hiring processes

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Paylocity, our HR and applicant tracking system provider, which processes candidate data on our behalf
  • With third-party background check providers, where applicable
  • With our internal hiring team members involved in the recruiting process
  • As required by law, legal process, or government request

5. Data Retention

We retain candidate personal information for as long as necessary to complete the recruiting process and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. If you are not selected for a position, we may retain your information for a reasonable period in the event future opportunities arise, unless you request deletion of your information.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Our text messaging communications are facilitated through Paylocity’s secure platform.

7. Your Rights
