The purpose of this policy is to describe the types of information collected from job applicants, the purposes for which it is used, how it is protected, and the circumstances under which it may be shared or disclosed, in alignment with organizational privacy standards and applicable laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

This policy applies to all individuals who apply for employment with ServIT Inc., including external applicants and referrals, and governs the collection, use, sharing, and retention of personal and sensitive personal information submitted during the job application process.

3.1 Information Collected from Job Applicants
Information such as contact details, employment history, credentials, social media data, and voluntary disclosures may be collected.
Sensitive personal information including demographic data, legal background, biometric data, and government identifiers may be collected as required or voluntarily submitted.
Personal and sensitive information may be used for evaluating qualifications, communication, lawful screening, diversity efforts, compliance, and analytics.
Accuracy of InformationApplicants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their submissions. Misrepresentation may lead to disqualification or termination.
Information may be shared with vendors, affiliates, during business transitions, or to comply with legal requirements.
Automated tools like cookies may be used to track applicant interactions with the website.
Data will be retained only as long as necessary and securely disposed of when no longer required.
ServIT Inc. implements appropriate controls to protect data. Breaches should be reported to support@servit.net.

Under the CCPA/CPRA, applicants are entitled to notice the following at or before the point of data collection:
· The categories of personal and sensitive personal information collected.
· The purposes for data collection and use.
· Whether the information will be sold or shared.
· The length of time data will be retained, or criteria used for retention.

International Data TransfersIf you reside outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other countries. Transfers are conducted under appropriate legal mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses or similar safeguards.
