This Notice of Privacy Practices for Job Applicants (“Applicant Notice”) describes how Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) processes personal data in connection with our recruiting activities.

At Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc., we are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you apply for a job through our recruitment platform.
 

The Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc., uses Paylocity for its recruitment process.

  • Identification details: Name, contact information, such as your telephone number, e-mail address, home address, and country of residence.
  • Professional data: Employment and education history details, and other information provided by you in your resume, diploma or other documents disclosed by you to us.
  • Application data: Interview notes, assessment results, references.
  • Any other information you elect to provide to us (e.g., employment preferences, willingness to relocate, and desired salary). 

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • To analyze your qualifications for current and future job opportunities with us.
  • To communicate with you during the recruitment process.

  • To conduct criminal history, background, and employment checks, if we offer you a position;  
  • To improve our recruitment services and candidate experience.

4. Accuracy of Information You Provide

You are responsible for the information you provide and ensuring that it is honest, truthful, accurate, and not misleading in any way.
 

5. Data Sharing

For the purposes specified above, your personal data is shared with our recruitment system provider, Paylocity. We may also share your data with:

  • Background check providers (with your consent).
  • IT service providers who support our recruitment systems.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain information to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, for legitimate business reasons, or as required by law, up to a maximum of 12 months. When we dispose of information, we use secure means, such as either physically or electronically erasing information or making it anonymous in a non-recoverable manner.


7. Security Measures

We implement the appropriate organizational, technical, and physical security measures and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the personal information entrusted to us. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us at hr@capbm.org.
