Effective Date: 8/25/2026
The EduCare Foundation (“EduCare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may use text messaging to communicate with applicants and prospective candidates regarding employment opportunities and the recruitment process. This Candidate Text Messaging Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information connected with these communications.
Candidates will receive recruiting-related text messages from EduCare only after voluntarily opting in. Providing a mobile telephone number does not automatically constitute consent unless the candidate affirmatively agrees to receive text messages.
Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of applying for employment, being considered for a position, or receiving an employment offer. Candidates who do not consent to text messaging may still communicate with EduCare through email, telephone, or other available methods.
Candidate text messages may include:
EduCare will not use the candidate-texting program to send unrelated marketing or promotional messages.
Message frequency will vary depending on the candidate’s application and recruitment activity. Message and data rates may apply according to the candidate’s mobile service plan. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Candidates may withdraw consent and stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or another clear request to stop receiving messages.
After opting out, the candidate may receive one final message confirming the opt-out request. EduCare will not send additional recruiting text messages unless the candidate later provides new consent. Opting out of text messages will not affect the candidate’s application or consideration for employment.
Candidates may reach out for assistance or contact EduCare Human Resources at HR@educarefoundation.com.
In connection with candidate texting, EduCare may collect and maintain:
Candidates should not send Social Security numbers, banking information, medical records, government identification numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through text message.

EduCare retains candidate-texting records for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the recruitment process, maintain appropriate employment records, honor opt-out requests, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
EduCare uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect candidate information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Candidates may contact EduCare Human Resources to request access to or correction of personal information associated with their application, subject to applicable law and any exceptions or record-retention requirements.
