Notice of Privacy Practices for Job Applicants

Archways collects certain information from job applicants including information submitted in cover letters, resumes, and related reference materials.  Depending on the stage of an application, in addition to the information applicants provide to Archways, we may obtain information about applicants from other third parties, such as recruiters, references, former employers, and law enforcement agencies.
 

How We Use Information

This information may be used for personnel recruitment, management, and planning purposes including the following: 

  • Analyzing qualifications for the job applied for or future jobs that may match the applicant’s profile; 
  • Communicating with applicants regarding their job application, inquiries and requests, other job openings, or important notices; 
  • Conducting criminal history, background, and employment checks, if a position is offered;  
  • Supporting Archways’ efforts to maintain a diverse workforce; and 
  • Complying with or monitoring Archways’ compliance with any applicable law or regulation. 

Accuracy of Information You Provide

Applicants are responsible for the information they provide to Archways and ensuring that it is honest, truthful, accurate, and not misleading. 


How We Share Your Information

We share information where necessary to comply with applicable law, to respond to requests from law enforcement agencies or other government authorities or third parties, as permitted by law, and without your consent when it is necessary to protect our participants, employees, or property; in emergency situations; or to enforce our rights under our terms of service and policies.
 

Retention & Disposal

Archways retains information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is collected, for legitimate business reasons, or as required by law. When Archways disposes of information, secure means are used by physically or electronically erasing information.
