Ultra Machining Company (“UMC”) is committed to protecting the personal information you provide in connection with your application for employment and to comply with all applicable data protection laws. UMC uses your personal information requested in this application process to evaluate your application for employment and for other customary human resources purposes

Completion of the applicant account registration process is your consent to process personal information in conjunction with your job application.


UMC receives personal data about you as a candidate for positions at UMC, such as: contact information, address, Curriculum Vitae (resumé) information (including information such as skills, work experience, education), notes submitted with the application, URL of your LinkedIn and other online profiles, the position for which you have been or are being considered, the source who submitted your candidacy (e.g., recruiting agency, referral), email correspondence between you, UMC and between UMC and other sources (such as recruiting agency and referrals) about your candidacy, information from references, events in the lifecycle of your candidacy, your responses to questionnaires sent to you by us, information about your candidacy and employment options (such as availability to be hired and salary expectations), evaluations of your candidacy, internal discussions within UMC about your candidacy, materials you or other parties (such as evaluators or background check providers) submitted in relation to your candidacy. If you submit your candidacy by email, or online, then you are the main source of the personal data. Your personal data can also originate from other sources, such as LinkedIn profile, recruitment agencies, headhunters and referrals. Data collected may include your full name, contact information, job title, company information, IP address, general location, language preference, professional and educational information, CV/resume, device and usage information,  or any other personal information you may provide.


Your consent is required for UMC to manage your personal information throughout the application process and, if applicable, your terms of employment or engagement. Your personal information may also be used to monitor recruitment initiatives and equal opportunity policies. You may access, update and correct your information via login to your account/profile at any time.

UMC may disclose your personal information to perform background checks, verify or obtain additional information about you from third parties as allowed or required, which may include, educational institutions, present and past employers and, if applicable, credit reference agencies. UMC may share personal information with UMC’s professional advisors, who are bound to meet privacy and security standards of UMC.


UMC works with data processors to collect, store and process personal information on our behalf for the purposes of providing our services. For example, Paylocity, works with us as a recruiting and applicant tracking platform (“Platform”) to handle your personal data as a candidate.


UMC may share your personal data with our service providers and vendors who assist us to collect, process and store your personal data, including, Paylocity (who provide us with the Platform) in the context of your candidacy. Paylocity and other service providers are authorized to use your personal data as necessary to provide these services or as otherwise authorized by us.

You understand and agree that upon submission of this online application, UMC may use your personal information that you have voluntarily provided, to contact you for recruitment, interviewing and employment purposes, to process your employment and for other employment related purposes. You also understand and agree that UMC may share your personal information with its affiliates, necessary third parties that process data on UMC’s behalf, regulatory authorities, or as required by law.

UMC will retain your personal data for as long as we need it to assess you as a candidate or as long as we have a valid legal basis. In accordance with our internal data retention policies and practices, we can decide whether to keep your personal data, delete it or pseudonymize/anonymize it. 


In the event that we are acquired by, or merged with, a third party entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer, disclose or assign your personal data in connection with the foregoing events, including, in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or to another company.


If your application is unsuccessful, your personal information may be retained by UMC to potentially inform you of future job opportunities that align with your skills.


If you have any questions about how your data will be used, or would like to remove your data from UMC and future employment considerations, please email HR@ultramc.com.  Please note that if you do not provide consent or you cancel your application before completing it, your information will not be transmitted and UMC will not be able to consider and process your application.


Your rights may vary, depending on the applicable law. These rights may not be available in certain jurisdictions and/or may be subject to certain derogations or limitations. Depending on where you live you may have the following rights:
