This California Privacy Policy supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies solely to job applicants, candidates, and users who reside in the State of California. We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA).
 

1. Categories of Personal Information Collected

We may collect the following categories of personal information: 

• Identifiers: Name, address, email, phone number, IP address, and other similar identifiers.
• Professional or Employment-Related Information: Resume/CV, job history, references, and interview notes.
• Education Information: Academic history and qualifications. 
• Internet or Network Activity: Usage data, logs, and interactions with our ATS.
• Sensitive Personal Information: Government ID numbers, demographic data (if voluntarily provided), and background check results. 

2. Purposes for Collection 

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes: 

• To process job applications and manage recruitment. 
• To communicate with candidates and hiring teams. 
• To comply with legal obligations.
•  To improve our ATS platform and services. 

3. Retention Period 

We retain personal information: 

• If hired: For the duration of employment plus 4 years. 
• If not hired: For 4 years from the date the position is filled or the date we receive your information, whichever is longer. 

4. Your Rights Under California Law 

As a California resident, you have the right to: 

• Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell. 
• Delete personal information we have collected (with exceptions). 
• Correct inaccurate personal information. 
• Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. 
• Opt-Out of the sale or sharing of personal information. 
• Non-Discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

5. Notice at Collection 

We provide this notice at or before the point of collection of personal information, as required by the CCPA/CPRA.
 

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure 

We do not sell personal information. However, we may share personal information with third parties for specific business purposes, in accordance with the CCPA and CPRA. These include:

A.  Categories of Third Parties We Share With 

• Recruiters and Employers: To facilitate job applications and candidate evaluations. 
• Service Providers: Including cloud hosting, background check vendors, communication platforms, and analytics providers. These parties are contractually obligated to use the data only for the services they provide to us.
• Legal and Regulatory Authorities: When required to comply with legal obligations or to protect our rights and users’ safety. 
• Affiliates and Subsidiaries: For internal administrative purposes and consistent service delivery. 

B. Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising 

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes unless explicitly disclosed and consented to. If we engage in such practices in the future, we will provide a clear “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link as required under CPRA.
 

C. Sensitive Personal Information 

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, demographic data, background checks) for purposes other than those permitted under CPRA Section 1798.121, such as providing services, ensuring security, or complying with laws.
 

D. Opt-Out Rights 

California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. If applicable, we will provide: 

• A “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our website. 
• Support for Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from browsers.
