Financial Integrators respects the privacy of our job applicants (“Applicants”), and this Applicant Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes our current privacy practices concerning the collection and use of information about you. I. Information We Collect From Applicants 

The types of information we may collect through the employment application and recruitment process includes:

  • First name, last name, job applicant, account username and password, social security number, drivers’ license or other state identification number, and other similar identifying information.
  • Physical address(es), email address(es), telephone number(s), and emergency contact.
  • Age, gender, race, and where applicable and in accordance with applicable law, your ethnicity, disability, military status, or criminal history.
  • Schools attended, degrees or certifications earned, grades, disciplinary records, or other education records and information.
  • Your resume or CV, cover letter, current and former employers, job title(s), and position(s).
  • Application information including what position you applied for, when you applied, and how you applied.
  • Any other information you voluntarily submit to us in connection with your application for employment, including that which you provide via webform, during an interview, or as part of other forms of assessment. 

II. How We Collect Information about Applicants

We collect the information listed in Section I directly from Applicants when they provide it through their job application and resumé, communications, and the interview process and when they complete forms and surveys as part of the hiring and employment process. We may also collect this information from third parties such as recruiters, employment agencies, placement services, your references, and our job applicant portal vendor.


III. How We Use Information about Applicants

We use the information we collect from you to:

  • consider you for current and potential future employment or engagement opportunities;
  • evaluate and corroborate your employment applications;
  • schedule interviews and communicate with you about your applications; 
  • comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process;
  • maintain records of our interactions and communications;
  • as permitted by law;
  • to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, or that of our employees or other parties; and 
  • for any other purposes with the consent of the Applicants.

We may share some of the personal information with third-party vendors as necessary for us to consider a particular job applicant for employment. Such vendors could include the entity that hosts our job applicant portal.


IV. Retention of Personal Information 

We keep your personal information only as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is processed except as required or authorized by applicable law. The amount of time for which we retain personal information depends on the purposes for which we collected and use it, or as required to comply with applicable law. If you accept an offer of employment, the information obtained through the application and recruitment process will become part of your employment record and used for employment-related purposes subject to applicable law.


V. Supplemental Privacy Disclosures for Applicants in Certain States

California. 

a. In addition to the information listed in Section I above, we may collect legally protected classification information, such as race, sex/gender, religious beliefs, military service, nationality, ethnicity, account login credentials with a password, and criminal background. In addition to the sensitive personal information listed in Section I, California treats sexual orientation, philosophical beliefs, and certain government identification numbers as “sensitive personal information.” 

b. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information other than for purposes for which you cannot opt-out under California law. We use sensitive personal information as necessary to conduct our relationship with you in determining your employment eligibility and for providing reasonable accommodations as needed for interviews.

c. California law places certain obligations on businesses that “sell” personal information to third parties or “share” personal information with third parties for “cross-context behavioral advertising” as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). VI. Changes to this Notice

We have the discretion to update this Notice at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Applicants to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protection the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
