Candidate Privacy Policy

Alloy Automotive Partners (“Alloy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including its subsidiaries such as SimplyEuro, SimplyAuto, and Blair Automotive, is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who apply for employment with us (“candidates” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information throughout the hiring process.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information when you apply for a role or participate in the hiring process:

  • Identification and contact information: name, email address, phone number.
  • Application materials: resume, CV, cover letter, employment history, education history, references.
  • Assessment and interview data: interview recordings (audio/video), assessment results, notes from interviews.
  • Background check information: provided by vendors such as Checkr, subject to applicable law.
  • Technical and scheduling data: information related to interviews and scheduling through Google Calendar and Google Meet.
  • Sensitive identifiers, for example: Social Security, driver's license, state identification card, or passport number.
  • Internet Activity Information, for example: interactions with Company’s Internet web site, job application, or job advertisement, and publicly available social media activity.

We do not collect demographic/EEO data during the application process. Where required, such information may be requested during onboarding after hire.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Evaluate your application and qualifications.
  • Manage and coordinate interviews and assessments.
  • Conduct background checks, as permitted by law.
  • Communicate with you throughout the recruitment process.
  • Consider you for future openings (unless you opt out).
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Vendors and service providers: including Paylocity (ATS), Checkr (background checks), and Google services (calendar, video interviewing).
  • Subsidiary employers: when you apply for a role with SimplyEuro, SimplyAuto, Blair Automotive, or other Alloy affiliates.
  • Government or regulatory authorities: as required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain candidate personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes outlined above and for any retention periods specified by applicable law for the jurisdiction in which your information is held. Candidate data may be kept indefinitely (“forever”) for compliance, recordkeeping, and consideration for future roles, unless you request deletion where permitted by law.

5. Candidate Rights

If you are a resident of Colorado, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of future consideration for roles.

6. Candidate Responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you provide to Alloy and that it is honest, truthful, accurate, and not misleading in any way.  If you provide information concerning any other person, such as individuals you provide as references, you are responsible for providing any notices and ensuring your references consent to Alloy’s collecting and processing that information in accordance with this privacy notice.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our careers site with a revised “Last updated” date.
