If applicable, we may also collect background check results, reference information, interview notes, and voluntary disclosures such as disability or veteran status and demographic data.
How We Collect Your Information
Your information is typically collected directly from the application materials you submit—whether online or on paper. How We Use Your Information
Stratum uses your information solely for recruitment-related purposes. These include evaluating your fit for a specific role, communicating with you during the hiring process, and complying with applicable legal or regulatory obligations. In the event that you receive and accept an offer, we may conduct post-offer background checks. Additionally, we may use the data collected to improve our overall recruiting systems and practices.
Please note, Stratum does not engage in automated decision-making based on applicant data.
Sharing Your Information
We treat your personal information with care and only share it when necessary. Information may be shared with hiring managers and Human Resources personnel at Stratum, background screening providers (if applicable post-offer), or regulatory authorities when legally required. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
If you are not hired, we retain your application materials in accordance with Oregon and federal law. Currently, this means we may keep your data for up to three (3) years from your last interaction with us, unless longer retention is required by law.
