Whenever you apply for a job, we collect information from and about you to evaluate your application. We collect information via Paylocity and interviews during recruitment. This information may include:

  • Contact information, including, but not limited to, name, phone number, address, email
  • Previous work experience, education, degrees, certifications, and other work-related skills and information
  • Information related to references
  • Information from social media sites, if you choose to link your application to a social media (such as LinkedIn)
  • Any other information you choose to provide such as desired salary, dates available to work, etc.

Sensitive Personal Information:

Certain types of information are considered sensitive personal information by Butler’s Pantry. This includes the following: information on race, religion, ethnicity, nationality or national origin, age, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, medical or health information (including disability status), genetic or biometric information. Should you offer or share any of that information during the application or interviewing process, it will not be used in hiring decisions.
 

How We Use Information Collected:

  • Evaluation of your qualifications for the job you applied for or other jobs that may match your skills
  • Communication with you about the status of your application, interview scheduling, offer letters, background checks, or other job openings
  • Conducting a background check after the contingent offer of a position and your acceptance of that offer

How We Share Your Information:

  • Information is stored internally via Paylocity and shared among recruiters, hiring managers, and any other employees involved in the hiring process
  • Some information such as name, email address, and phone number may be shared with our background check company

Information Retention:

We retain information as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, for legitimate business reasons, or as required by law.
