In doing so, we must remain acutely aware that the decisions made by CLX have profound implications on individuals’ lives, and therefore, must be approached with the utmost care, integrity, and deliberation.

Policy Scope

Applies to all recruitment efforts across the company—including full-time, part-time, temporary, and contract roles at every level. HR professionals and hiring managers ensure consistent application of this policy throughout each stage of the hiring process. All practices comply with applicable local, state, and federal employment laws, with local standards taking precedence when stricter.

Hiring Process

Job Postings

  • Clear, inclusive, and skills-based job descriptions define each role, avoiding unnecessary criteria that could introduce bias. Job openings appear across diverse platforms to attract a broad and qualified applicant pool.
  • Structured Interviews
  • Standardized interview questions focus on technical abilities, relevant experience, and fresh perspectives that support team and company growth. Interview panels include individuals from relevant backgrounds supporting fair and objective evaluations.

Assessments

  • Task-based assessments, where applicable, illustrate a candidate’s approach and skill level. These exercises are designed to showcase proficiency, not serve as pass/fail exams.
  • Recruitment materials are clearly written and easy to understand, clearly distinguishing between required and preferred skills. Accommodations and alternative formats are available upon request to support applicants with disabilities.
