Portco Packaging (“Portco,” “we,” or “us”) respects the privacy of people who apply for jobs or express interest in working with us.
Information we collect and how we use it. We may collect information you provide through our career page or recruiting conversations, such as your name, contact details, resume, application responses, work history, and messages. If you choose to receive text messages, we also collect your mobile number and records of your texting consent and opt-out requests. We use this information to review applications, communicate with candidates, arrange interviews, and manage recruiting.
Text messages. If you opt in, Portco may text you about your application, interviews, hiring status, or job opportunities. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is optional and is not a condition of applying for or accepting a job. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You may also contact us at HR@portco.com. We may send a final text confirming your opt-out.
How we share information. We may share candidate information with Portco employees involved in recruiting and with service providers that support our career page, applicant tracking, or candidate texting. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell candidate information.
Retention and security. We keep candidate information for as long as needed for recruiting, recordkeeping, and legal requirements, then delete or securely dispose of it under our retention practices. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it.
