Bender sends recruiting text messages to candidates. This policy explains what we send, how we use your number, and how to stop. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these terms.
Consent
We text only candidates who opt in — by providing a mobile number with consent on an application, completing an opt-in form, or replying YES to an outreach message. Consent is not a condition of employment or continued consideration for any position.
What We Send and How Often
Recruiting messages only: interview scheduling and reminders, application status updates, requests for documents, and onboarding steps. We do not send marketing texts, and frequency varies by stage of your candidacy. Message and data rates may apply; you are responsible for any fees your wireless carrier charges.
Opt Out and Help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe — you will receive one confirmation, then no further texts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help or use the contact below.
Your Information
We collect your mobile number, opt-in records, and message delivery and opt-out status, used only for recruiting. We do not sell or share your number for anyone else’s marketing. We may share it with our recruiting and HRIS providers and messaging carriers to deliver texts, or with authorities as required by law. We retain consent and messaging records for at least four years, or longer if law requires.
Compliance and Changes
Our SMS communications comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state privacy laws. We may update this policy; material changes will be sent to active candidates, and the current version is available on request and through our applicant portal.
