This Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of personal data specifically related to Short Message Service (SMS) and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) communications conducted through our human capital management provider, Paylocity.

2. Scope of Consent

By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting into the text messaging service via the Paylocity applicant portal, you provide express written consent to receive automated and manual recruitment-related communications. Participation in this program is voluntary and is not a prerequisite for employment or consideration for any position within the Company.

3. Data Collection and Usage

The Company collects specific identifiers to facilitate professional communication, including your mobile number, message history, and engagement metadata. This information is utilized exclusively for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to:

• Application Lifecycle Updates: Notifications regarding receipt of application and status changes.
• Interview Coordination: Scheduling, rescheduling, and providing logistics for interviews.
• Information Requests: Formal inquiries regarding professional experience, availability, and required documentation.

4. Disclosure of Information

High Desert PACE maintains strict protocols regarding the sharing of applicant data:

• Third-Party Service Providers: Data is shared with Paylocity solely to execute the messaging service. Paylocity is contractually obligated to maintain the security and confidentiality of this data.
• Non-Disclosure for Marketing: Mobile information and consent data will not be shared, sold, or rented to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Legal Compliance: We reserve the right to disclose personal information as required by law or when such disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights or comply with a judicial proceeding.

5. Participant Rights and Opt-Out Procedures

You maintain the right to withdraw your consent at any time without prejudice to your application.

• To Terminate Communications: Reply STOP to any message received from the Company. Upon receipt of this command, a final confirmation message will be sent, and your mobile number will be removed from the SMS distribution list.
• Technical Assistance: Reply HELP for instructions or contact the High Desert PACE Human Resources department directly.

6. Security and Data Retention

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information collected through this service. Data will be retained in accordance with applicable state and federal record-keeping requirements for recruitment and hiring.

7. Fees and Rates

High Desert PACE does not impose a fee for the use of this service. However, standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier and individual service plan.
