This California Privacy Statement for Candidates explains our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information that we collect and process as part of the application and recruitment process from applicants and prospective employees and contractors (“Candidate(s)” or “you”) in California.


This Statement applies to Kings River Packing, LP (“KRP, LP,” “we,” “our,” or “us”. One KRP, LP entity, may collect or process personal information on behalf of another KRP, LP entity.


We designed this Statement to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Civil Code section 1798.100 et seq., as amended (the “CCPA”/“CPRA”). We do not intend to create any rights beyond what the law requires.


Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information about you from different sources and in various ways during your application and candidacy, including information you provide directly, information collected automatically, information received from third-party data sources, and information we infer or generate from other data.

The categories of personal information we may collect include:

  • Identifiers & Contact Information: Name, address, phone number, email, driver’s license or government ID (if provided), Social Security number (if required for background or pre-employment checks).
  • Employment & Professional Information: Resume, work history, job title, education, certifications, licenses, training, references, and work authorization status.
  • Demographics (voluntary): Gender, race/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status.
  • Electronic & Network Activity: Use of our recruiting systems, IP address, login data, and security logs.
  • Audio/Visual Information: Video interview recordings, photographs, voicemail.
  • Sensitive Personal Information: Government ID numbers, health or disability information if disclosed for accommodation or background check purposes.

Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information from:

  • You directly (via applications, resumes, forms, interviews).
  • Automatically (via recruiting systems, IT/network logs, career portal, website).
  • Third parties such as background check vendors, recruiting agencies, prior employers, references, and publicly available sources (e.g., LinkedIn).

Use of Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Recruiting, evaluating, and hiring decisions.
  • Communicating with you during the application process.
  • Conducting background checks (if authorized and permitted by law).
  • Equal opportunity, and compliance with applicable labor and employment laws.
  • IT and security monitoring of recruiting systems.

We do not sell or share applicant personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

Retention of Personal Information

We retain candidate personal information for the duration of the application process and generally for at least three (3) years afterward, or longer if required by law (e.g., equal employment, reporting, legal claims).


Your Rights

As a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what categories of personal information we collect and how it is used/disclosed.
  • Access your personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we only use SPI for legally permitted purposes).
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising these rights. Exercising your privacy rights will not affect your job application with us.
