Privacy Policy for Job Applicants

The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who apply for employment opportunities through Paylocity, our software platform, which includes applicant tracking and payroll services.

This Privacy Policy explains how the SRAA collects, uses, and protects the personal data you provided through Paylocity, our applicant tracking system (ATS), which is our internal payroll and human resources platform.

 

1. Information We Collect

When Applicants apply for a position, the SRAA may collect the following types of personal information:

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, phone      number, home address
  • Employment Information: Resume/CV content, employment      history, education background, certifications, references
  • Optional Information: Cover letters, portfolios, work      samples, LinkedIn or other professional profile links, demographic      information for federal EEO reporting,
  • Assessment Data: Responses to interview      questions, test scores, personality assessments, or screening tools, if      used
  • Device and Technical Data (collected indirectly): IP      address, browser type, and access logs for system integrity and      troubleshooting

2. How Information Is Used

Applicant data is collected and processed solely on behalf of SRAA, for the purposes of:

  • Reviewing applications and      assessing candidate suitability
  • Communicating with applicants      regarding their application status
  • Managing interviews and      scheduling
  • Verifying qualifications and      conducting background checks (where authorized)
  • Maintaining a talent pipeline for      future opportunities (as permitted by the applicant)
  • Ensuring compliance with Federal      and State reporting requirements

The SRAA will not use applicant data for marketing purposes or any unrelated business purposes.
 

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The SRAA will collect and process your data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • To take steps      prior to entering into a potential employment contract
