Liberty Defense Group Recruitment Privacy Statement
This Liberty Defense Group Recruitment Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Liberty Defense Group (“LDG”), its subsidiaries and affiliates use and process your personal information during our application and recruitment process and why LDG uses it.
1. Scope.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data about individuals who apply for or are a potential candidate for a job or express interest in working with LDG (“you” or “your”), in connection with:

· Receiving emails that promote job events or job opportunities at LDG.

The types of personal data which LDG processes varies depending on the position you apply for, your location, and the conditions attached to the role. Typically, this includes:
· Your personal details, including but not limited to your name, date of birth, gender, nationality, personal contact information, current employer and position, and salary;
· Qualifications, including but not limited to your education, work history, professional memberships, spoken languages, competencies, and skills;
· Immigration and right to work, including but not limited to your national ID number and visa or work permit;
· Vetting and verification information, including but not limited to references, birth certificate, driver’s license, social media, and criminal record disclosures; and
· Other personal information, including but not limited to anything you may disclose to LDG during the application or interview process, whether verbally or in written form.
3. Why and how does LDG use your personal information.
LDG uses personal information for the following purposes:
· To verify your identity;
· To communicate with you and respond to your requests or application;
· For recruitment, evaluation, background screening, and hiring purposes;
· To analyze, develop, and improve LDG’s recruitment process;
· To maintain and monitor the security of LDG and our sites, systems, applications, and networks;
· To comply with applicable laws and regulations and to operate our business; and
· To be more efficient during the application process.
4. Who is responsible for processing your personal data.
LDG is a data controller and responsible for processing your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.[1]
5. Retention of Your Personal Data.
If you are not offered or do not accept a position at LDG or you withdraw your application, LDG will retain the personal data that you provided to us to comply with applicable law for a reasonable period of time where LDG has a legitimate business need to do so. While LDG has no ongoing legitimate business need to possess your personal data, LDG securely deletes the information or make it anonymous. If this is not possible, LDG will securely store your personal data and isolate it form any further processing until deletion is possible. Generally, this means your personal data will be kept for the duration of the application process plus a reasonable period of time after the application process concludes.
If you do not wish to be considered for future opportunities or would like this information to be deleted from LDG’s files at an earlier date, you can request to do so by contacting us directly at admin@libertydefensegroup.com.
6. Access to and Disclosures of Personal Data.
Your personal data may be accessed by the relevant LDG personnel who are involved in managing or making decisions regarding your potential employment. Where appropriate, your information may also be shared internally within the LDG but only where necessary–for example, to make decisions related to your recruitment.
LDG may engage third-party service providers to support our recruitment processes. These providers may access, store, or process your personal data solely for the purpose of delivering their services to us. Such third parties operate under our instruction and are bound by strict contractual obligations to protect your data and maintain confidentiality.
There may also be circumstances in which LDG may be required to disclose your personal data to third parties, such as:
· Tax authorities, IT service providers, legal counsel, auditors, investors, consultants, or other professional advisors;
· Courts, regulatory bodies, government agencies, or other public authorities, in response to lawful requests or legal obligations;

In all cases, LDG requires any third party with whom LDG shares your personal data to process it in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including requirements related to confidentiality, security, and lawful processing.
