1. Scope and Purpose

This Recruitment Privacy Policy explains how Comprehensive Community Health Centers (“CCHC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information (“PI”) about job applicants and prospective contractors (together, “candidates”). Although nonprofit entities such as CCHC are generally exempt from the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”), we voluntarily provide this notice to promote transparency and to honor the privacy rights of California residents. The Policy applies to PI collected both online (e.g., through our Careers page, email, or virtual interviews) and offline (e.g., at job fairs, in-person interviews, or through recruiters).

We provide this Policy—and a short Notice at Collection link—at or before every point where we request candidate PI, as required under the CCPA. cppa.ca.gov

We retain PI only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by law or internal policy.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use candidate PI to:

  1. Recruit, evaluate, and hire applicants, including verifying qualifications,      scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
  2. Comply with legal obligations, such as EEO, immigration, health-screen, and      background-check requirements.
  3. Communicate with you about your application status and future      openings you may find relevant.
  4. Maintain the security and      integrity of our recruitment systems and      prevent fraud.
  5. Improve our recruitment processes, analytics, and candidate      experience.

We will not use Sensitive PI for purposes that are unrelated to those listed above without first providing a new notice and the opportunity to limit such use, as required by the CCPA. oag.ca.gov

4. Disclosure, Sale, or Sharing of Personal Information

  • Disclosure:      In the past 12 months we have disclosed PI from the categories listed in      Section 2 to service providers who assist with applicant-tracking,      background checks, occupational health screenings, IT-hosting, and legal      or regulatory compliance. These third parties may only use your PI to      perform services on our behalf and must keep it confidential.
  • Sale or Sharing:      CCHC does not sell      candidate PI nor “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as      those terms are defined in the CCPA.
  • Minors:      We have no actual knowledge      of selling or sharing PI of consumers under 16 years of age.
