TEXT MESSAGING PRIVACY POLICY – RECRUITING COMMUNICATIONS

1. Scope and Purpose
This Privacy Policy governs the use of text messaging (SMS and MMS) communications by the
Company through the Paylocity Recruiting module. Text messaging may be utilized for
recruitment-related purposes, including but not limited to:
- Acknowledgment of application submission;
- Scheduling and confirming interviews;
- Providing reminders, updates, and status notifications regarding the recruitment process; and
- Communicating employment-related opportunities.
The Company does not use text messaging for general marketing purposes.
2. Candidate Consent
By voluntarily providing a mobile telephone number in connection with the recruitment process,
candidates expressly consent to the receipt of automated and non-automated text messages from the
Company. Such consent constitutes prior express written consent under the Telephone Consumer
Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and any other applicable federal, state, or local laws and
regulations.
Message frequency will vary depending on the stage of the recruitment process. Standard messaging
and data rates imposed by mobile carriers may apply.
3. Opt-Out Rights
Candidates may revoke their consent to receive text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any
text message received from the Company. Following receipt of such a request, the Company will cease
sending text communications to the number provided, except where otherwise required or permitted by
law.
Candidates who opt out of text messaging may continue to receive recruitment-related communications
via email or other communication methods. Candidates may re-subscribe by replying “START” or by
updating preferences within the Paylocity Recruiting platform.
4. Data Collection and Use
The Company collects and maintains mobile phone numbers and related information solely for
recruitment and employment-related purposes. The Company does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise
disclose mobile numbers or text message content to unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.
Data associated with text messaging will be stored and maintained in Paylocity in accordance with the
Company’s record retention policies and applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other
relevant privacy frameworks where applicable.
5. Security of Information
The Company implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards
to protect candidate personal information, including mobile telephone numbers, against unauthorized
access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic communication can be
guaranteed as completely secure, and candidates acknowledge and accept this risk by participating in
text message communications.
6. Candidate Responsibilities
Candidates are responsible for providing accurate and current mobile telephone information and for
notifying the Company promptly of any changes. The Company is not responsible for misdirected,
delayed, or failed text messages resulting from inaccurate or outdated candidate information, technical
issues, or carrier-related transmission failures.
7. Policy Modifications
The Company reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Privacy Policy at any time in its sole
discretion, subject to applicable law. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting or
notification. Continued participation in the recruitment process following such changes constitutes
acceptance of the revised policy.
