Garnet Auto Group recognizes privacy as an important value and an essential element of employee’s trust.  The Human Resources Recruiting Data Privacy Policy (“this Policy”) describes a baseline set of common principles governing the handling of personal data obtained through recruitment for Garnet Auto Group (“the Company”).

1.1.      The Company generally processes the following personal data about over the course of recruitment and hiring

1.1.1.     Your biographical information including your name, gender, date of birth, previous job history education details, and nationality

1.1.2.     Your contact information including your home address, telephone number, email address, and country of residence

1.1.3.     Your identification numbers including federal and state government issued documents such as social security number, driver’s       license number, and passport information

1.1.4.     Most personal data collected is from you directly in the course of the application process.  We may also use other sources, subject to any restrictions under applicable law, to assist in obtaining relevant personal data about you.

1.1.4.1.  Third parties may provide information including credit checks, reference checks, and background checks.


 

2. HOW WE USE THIS DATA

2.1.      Your personal data may be used for the following pre-hire purposes.

2.1.1.     To manage recruitment of employees, including legal eligibility for work, job-related risk management, and licenses necessary to perform your job.


3. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION

3.1.      Maintaining the security and integrity of your personal data is the Company’s highest priority and all appropriate administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard personal data against loss, theft, and unauthorized uses or modifications will be utilized.

3.2.      The Company will keep records of your personal data no longer than required by federal and state employment laws.
