Description

 

The Recruitment & Seasonal Programs Coordinator plays a key role in the success of Ridgecrest Conference Center’s seasonal staff and intern programs. This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of seasonal and intern staffing — including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing support.


In addition to administrative responsibilities, this role emphasizes discipleship, leadership development, and program coordination, providing meaningful spiritual and professional growth opportunities for staff and interns. You’ll work closely with the Talent Team and other departments to recruit and support mission-minded individuals who contribute to Ridgecrest’s vision of “Impacting Lives for God’s Glory Through Purposeful Hospitality.”


Recruiting & Hiring

  • Recruit and hire qualified seasonal staff and interns who align with Ridgecrest’s mission and values.
  • Set and track recruiting goals, providing weekly metrics and updates.
  • Create and manage engaging recruiting content for social media and website platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges to strengthen recruiting pipelines.
  • Represent Ridgecrest at career fairs, campus events, and ministry gatherings.

Program Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate all aspects of the seasonal staff and intern experience, including orientation, scheduling, housing assignments, transportation, and logistical preparations.
  • Manage and develop summer and intern program structures, including leadership development, enrichment opportunities, and intentional discipleship.
  • Assist in training, supervising, and supporting seasonal staff, ensuring they are equipped, valued, and retained throughout the season.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues to ensure a positive and smooth program experience.

Discipleship & Culture Building

  • Foster a Christ-centered community through mentorship, team building, and discipleship.
  • Align programming with Ridgecrest’s spiritual and ministry goals to ensure lasting impact on participants.

Other Duties

  • Assist with departmental projects and contribute to the overall success of the Talent Team.
  • Requires travel, evening, and weekend work, particularly during the summer season.


Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Strong organization and time management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social media platforms
  • Comfortable mentoring and guiding college students and interns
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive a 12-passenger van (training provided)
  • Ability to walk long distances across uneven terrain and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Growing, committed follower of Jesus Christ who affirms Ridgecrest’s statement of faith

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Christian Ministries, Communications, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, staffing, or college outreach
  • Experience with programming, mentoring, or leading in a ministry or camp setting
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics
  • Skills in social media content creation and brand storytelling
  • Self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset and strong teamwork skills


Salary Description
starting at $18.00 an hour
