We are seeking a meticulous Master Body Technician to join our elite collision repair team at Fantastic Finishes in West Palm Beach, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for performing all phases of the repair process for OEM certified repairs.
Pay: $30.00-38.00 Flat Rate
Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform advanced vehicle repairs and diagnostics in accordance with manufacturer, OEM, and industry standards while ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety.
- Oversee and support efficient production workflow by reviewing repair plans, coordinating with team members, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of work.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and compliant work environment, including proper care and calibration of tools, equipment, and adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring technicians, sharing best practices, supporting training initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Achieve, maintain, and keep up to date with all required certifications, training, and manufacturer qualifications to remain current with evolving technologies and repair standards.
Qualifications
- ASE & I-Car Certified (Required)
- Proven mastery in and capability to perform advanced collision repair, including structural aluminum and high-strength steel diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Fully qualified in steel and aluminum structural repair, welding, riveting, and bonding, with the capability to quickly obtain advanced certifications if not already achieved.
- Advanced Certifications strongly preferred; additional OEM certifications such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or equivalent manufacturer-approved programs highly valued.
- Spanesi Three-dimensional measuring and Celette bench set up (Preferred)
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy tools and equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support technicians by sharing advanced repair techniques and best practices to elevate team performance and quality.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in varied positions for extended periods, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate shop equipment and luxury vehicles
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, if applicable
