Position Overview:


Ayers Saint Gross is seeking a motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic Marketing and Business Development team for a 3-month, full-time paid internship. The ideal candidate will have an important role in supporting the firm’s creative and strategic marketing, business development, and communications efforts. The position will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary design teams, including architecture, landscape architecture, graphic design, interiors, planning, and space analytics to promote and communicate the firm’s work in proposals and a variety of digital and print media. The ideal candidate needs to be an efficient, quick learner and an enthusiastic team player who can adjust to a variety of working styles. Must be a curious problem solver who is detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter. The candidate must have excellent communication and writing skills and experience working independently and in collaborative group settings.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing Operations and other members of the department, the person who succeeds in this role will thoughtfully support the firm in multiple ways, including:

  • Assist with the production of marketing materials, publications, qualifications packages, proposals, and client interviews/presentations with other marketing team members
  • Maintain and update marketing projects and contact databases
  • Provide research and support to business development efforts
  • Participate in internal client development and marketing meetings
  • Assist with the coordination of public relations, awards, and community service efforts
  • Assist with updates to the firm-wide image database
  • Provide general administrative support for marketing and business development efforts


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or in pursuit of a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • At least two years of communications, marketing, or writing experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry
  • Interest in design and working in a creative profession 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to coordinate multiple efforts simultaneously and prioritize deadlines
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office in a PC-environment preferred
  • Strong communication (written/verbal) and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment, successfully working with firm management
