REVELxp is currently looking for a Sales Manager to be a leading force in selling gameday tailgate packages at the University of Oklahoma. This position will focus on generating revenue out of our Oklahoma City properties by building and maintaining relationships with our current guests and generating new sales through campaigns and self-prospecting. REVELxp seeks a highly motivated, coachable, competitive, and professional individual for this position who has a passion for sales. 

This position is salaried full-time and reports directly to the General Manager – Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will have proven experience building on existing and new accounts, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues across multiple levels and geographies. 


Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:



  • Generate revenue through sales of full season, multi-game, and individual gameday tailgate packages to current and new guests
  • Prospect and acquire new business through phone calls, in person appointments, use of sales enablement tools, networking events, event days, social campaigns, and referrals
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals established in tandem between the Sales Manager and General Manager
  • Build and consistently grow a pipeline of prospects through creative touchpoints that foster relationships and trust with potential guests
  • Proactively create ideas and opportunities for new revenue generation
  • Provide superior and professional customer service to all guests
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of in Salesforce to track and report on all sales efforts, including lead entry
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Responsible to be on-site for all hosted events, including all University of Oklahoma home football games
  • Build rapport with existing tailgate guests and generate new leads by securing referrals and interacting with curious fans that stop by the welcome tent
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of sports and the excitement surrounding live events, is a plus
  • Prior experience in a revenue-generating role, specifically in ticketing, sponsorships, hospitality, event and/or premium sales
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule as sports and entertainment events may require, including extended days and hours, holidays, and weekends
  • Strong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional career
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, with an ability to think and react to situations confidently
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization and throughout the community
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and resolution skills
