We're looking to add a Superintendent to our Cincinnati Crew! As a Superintendent, you are responsible for the overall direction of field operations, completion schedules, and labor and cost budget outcome of your project. You will direct and supervise all Findorff field personnel and subcontractors on the jobsite effectively to bring the project to a successful completion for our clients. You are key in establishing a positive and effective and collaborative work relationship with Project Team members (PM staff, Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors).

How you'll make an impact:

Site Management

  • Plan and schedule project, including short interval schedules
  • Schedule manpower and determine crew sizes based on the estimates and project schedule
  • Monitor job progress by managing subcontractors, solving problems and conflicts, using proper documentation, quality control and safety control techniques on the job
  • Manage project costs by weekly evaluation of labor, material, and equipment costs
  • Demonstrate superior construction process knowledge

People Management

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by recognizing and meeting all the client's needs
  • Provide leadership through team building communications, motivation, confidence, good judgment and listening
  • Manage and mentor other Findorff leaders and field personnel
  • Ensure that all parties understand the importance of safety on the project and follow OSHA requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field OR equivalent work experience as a construction superintendent/supervision role for a general contractor
  • 5+ years significant experience in the commercial construction field
  • Must possess ground up construction knowledge and experience
  • Experience in self performed trades and concrete fundamentals
  • Current OSHA 10 (or above) Certification is a plus
  • Proven track record of effective coaching, mentoring and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state for projects, as needed is preferred
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred but not required
  • Familiarity in programs is a plus: Bluebeam or other PDF software, MS Office, MS Project and PlanGrid
