The salary range is $80k to $100k plus commission depending on experience.

East Daley Analytics (EDA) is seeking an experienced, driven Senior Account Executive with a proven track record of success in B2B, relationship-driven subscription solution sales. The objective of this ambitious, tenacious and self-motivated Executive will be to develop sales plans to identify, prospect, present effective solutions, and retain clients to achieve company revenue targets, while also identifying key market and product opportunities. This individual contributor will take a consultative approach to discovery with prospective clients while balancing the achievement of quarterly sales quotas. They will also be comfortable working hand-in-hand with Product Development and Analytics to evolve products to fit the needs of an ever-changing, competitive    

client ecosystem. The position requires a tenacious person who is not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves in order to dig into the details, change markets with next-level data insights and bullishly achieve results.

The Senior Account Executive will thrive in a results-oriented environment, with a “refuse to lose” attitude that drives value and impact for clients to help them win. This individual will have a strong desire to learn, an inquisitive outlook on all business interactions, and the ability to work through complex ideas and communicate in a concise and effective manner with internal teams. As an external leader to the company, he or she will embody the spirit and culture of the company with a terrific client-centric approach in all interactions.  The ideal candidate profile will have high drive, high optimism, low patience, and be highly creative and flexible.

This is a full-time position, based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and reports to the Head of Sales.


  • Generate a pipeline of leads through online prospecting, cold-calling, event lists, and referrals
  • Develop an in-depth comprehension of target client profiles and subgroup stakeholders through understanding pain points and data needs, buying decisions, and client budget dynamics
  • Drive long, complex sales processes involving multiple layers of stakeholders, users, and decision-makers 
  • Manage   pricing, negotiations, and contracting throughout the sales life cycle 
  • Close subscription-based sales to new clients within the assigned vertical(s) to   achieve revenue targets
  • Engage with key clients at both the strategic and executional level to deliver results that   help them win
  • Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Account Management, and Analytics to align sales plans for optimal go to market strategies for new product and feature   launches
  • Ensure client   renewals, retention, and payment through regular interaction with key stakeholders to identify product fit, product growth, and value proposition   discussion
  • Identify vertical market   and product opportunities 
  • Produce internal   reports for senior management to provide visibility into sales activities


 Success Metrics of Position Goals:

  •  Achieve or exceed quarterly goals for new client sales
  • Renew and upsell current clients to maintain 90%+ retention rates
  • Increase vertical market penetration and market share
  • Assist in the development of new product innovation through market intel at the client level
  • Enable Analytics and Product Management teams to create in-depth working relationships with subscription clients
  • Compress time to close by developing a mastery-level understanding of client types, values, and in-vertical ecosystem dynamics

  • Proven   B2B subscription-based selling capabilities in an agile, scaling, and often-changing industry
  • Professional   communication, both written and verbal, with the desire to build lasting   relationships with clients and internally within the company
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to find creative solutions in a rapidly evolving and   competitive ecosystem
  • Strong   analytical capabilities are a must
  • Process-driven   with a solid foundation of how to use metrics to measure success and progress
  • Demonstration of a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing objectives
  • Superb   interpersonal skills, always approachable and professional
  • Competitive   drive 
  • Ability   to negotiate
  • Proven   ability to self-manage complex sales
  • Proficiency   in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)



  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) year’s   in subscription-based B2B sales
  • Experience in   navigating sales at multiple levels of an organization, including executives,   with high dollar negotiation 
  • Extensive experience   in client communication through both written and verbal presentations 
  • Small to high-growth   company experience preferred
  • Oil and Gas industry   experience is preferred


  • Up to 50% of   domestic travel
