The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic Corporate Relations team as a Corporate Relations Manager in our Chicago, IL office. T


This flexible, telecommuting hybrid position will successfully secure sponsorship sales and provide exceptional client 

services for both existing clients and new business opportunities.


Responsibilities:

· Successfully secure sponsorship sales to increase non-dues revenue. Organize a strong sales pipeline, generate leads and identify qualified prospects. 

· Build and maintain relationships with industry supporters. Identify sponsorship opportunities that propel the Academy’s vision and mission. 

· Manage and maintain a current CRM database for timely and accurate sales, metrics and status reports.

· Coordinate and support the fulfillment of meeting and program deliverables, including internal and external communications and collaboration, contracts, project management, facilitation of content reviews, logistics, execution, onsite/online management, and post-meeting/program reports.

· Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing collateral including website content. 

· Support overall Corporate Relations team goals and assist with initiatives and tasks as needed.

Requirements

· A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications is required, along with 5-7 plus years related work experience.

· Prior experience in account management, sponsorship development and sales, and client services. Experience in the food and nutrition or CPG industries a plus. 

· Demonstrated experience in successfully cultivating and managing client/account relationships.

· Exceptional organization, time management, attention to detail and communication skills (written and verbal).

· Highly motivated, results-driven professional.

· Demonstrated ability to work well independently and collaboratively as a team. Must have a positive attitude and passion for sales and client service. 

 · Highly effective at managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
