Interplan is a commercial architectural firm located in Orlando, FL, specializing in restaurant and retail design work with large nationwide clients. Interplan was founded over fifty years ago and has offices in Orlando, Oakbrook Terrace, Fort Worth, and Philadelphia. We are looking to grow our full-time staff in our Orlando/ Altamonte Springs office and we are seeking a full-time Human Resources Administrator – Talent Acquisition. Interplan’s mission is to be present with our employees, and clients, and the Talent Acquisition Administrator –  is a vital role in supporting this goal. The administrator is typically the first point of contact for prospective candidates and all new hires. 


Job Description

The Human Resources Administrator – Talent Acquisition role focuses on aligning business objectives to human resource operations with a concentration on talent acquisition. The objective of this role is recruitment and the creation of a talent pipeline. This administrator participates in and is responsible for managing the selection and hiring process for both external and internal candidates. This position works closely with the Human Resources Manager to understand the company needs as it relates to staffing and collaborating on a hiring strategy. Top candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred, as well as a work history that includes recruiting and/or interviewing for open roles. Previous experience in an A&E firm is a plus, but not required. 

Requirements
  • Drive the Talent Acquisition process and establish recruiting requirements by meeting with managers to discuss departmental needs and studying organization strategic plans and objectives
  • Provide ideas for maintaining a healthy pipeline of talent; work with external resources such as recruiting agencies 
  • Review employment applications and prescreen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills to match candidates with job requirements
  • Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate, and coordinating interviews with managers
  • Manage applicant tracking system and recruitment calendar: schedule initial screenings and follow up Webex interviews, as well as arrange interviews for hiring managers
  • Exceptional organization skills, as well as planning and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience with HR software such as Paylocity/Deltek preferred 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, and LinkedIn
  • Work with the marketing department to create collateral, displays, and swag for recruitment events attended
  • Lead new employee onboarding processes to include new employee orientation.
  • Provide sound employee relations guidance and resolve employee issues within the established organizational policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Coordinate the employee recognition program and various other team-building events. Provide backup payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS support as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and applicable employment laws to ensure company compliance.
  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field preferred
