Description

Teall Capital Partners is looking for an experienced talent acquisition professional to fill the role of Director of Talent Acquisition. This position will be responsible for achieving the company’s staffing objectives by proactively recruiting and evaluating job candidates, managing the candidate pipeline, advising managers, and managing relocations .

  

  • Designs, develops, and maintains the recruitment process by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with hiring managers to discuss needs. Aspects of plan include, but are not limited to: description, recruitment measurement definitions, recruiting requirements, regular measurement reporting, and taking proper actions to close gaps. 
  • Financially incents leaders of the organization to place candidates in pipeline.
  •  Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, outside recruiting agencies, media, and internet sites. Provides and conducts in-person presentations to include organization information, opportunities, and benefits. Makes presentations and maintains rapport with recruitment sources, colleges, job fairs throughout the United States.
  • Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization.
  • Determines applicant requirement matrix by studying job description and job qualifications and by working with hiring supervisor.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements while building and maintaining database and company recruiting pipeline of potential candidates through quality relationships with the internal customers and external resources.
  • Responsible for placing all open positions on internal career webpage and external recruiting sites (i.e., ZipRecruiter, Indeed, etc.). Works with position supervisor on details, including but not limited to: Title,  Job location, Position responsibilities, Position qualifications, Salary.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules. Arranges travel, lodging, and meals, escorts applicants to interviews and arranges community tours, when applicable in order for said candidate to experience the city of relocation.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with hiring managers.
  • Is a licensed StrengthFinders assessment facilitator, ensuring testing is done on all potential candidates and assessing and managing results of each candidate’s testing and how it connects into the current company/property/team for which the new team member would be working.
  • Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements, negotiating with movers, arranging temporary housing, and providing community introductions.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices and emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current labor legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and recommending appropriate training.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Responsible for creating and delivering all employment letters for potential team members (i.e., employees and independent contractors).
  • Works with position supervisor on details, including but not limited to: Compensation, to include analysis of industry standards, job requirements, experience and job level, Title, Employment terms, Benefits, Paid-time-off, Employee classification (i.e., employee vs. independent contractor)
  • Coordinates and conducts exit interviews in order to create and implement learnings for the recruitment process.
  • Works to foster positive employee relations and teamwork by:  following and supporting the organization’s policies and procedures, communicating effectively with all operating units, complying with all federal, state, and local regulations, laws, and ordinances in discharging duties, assisting in the internal training and development programs of the organization, and embodying the values of the company and contribute to the special culture with energy and commitment to our shared success.

Requirements

What makes you a good candidate?


  • Three or more years of HR recruiting experience
  • Licensed Strength-Finder assessment facilitator
  • Bachelors' degree
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and as a team -- be a self-starter and collaborative depending on needs
  • Strong organization, communication, follow up and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
  • Experienced in managing numerous projects at once within a fast-paced environment; time management is key
  • High level of initiative, specifically in the areas of company growth and process improvement
  • Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, character, honesty and commitment to excellence
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
