The Episcopal Church Home is happy to announce that we will be sponsoring candidates who are interested in becoming a C.N.A.
***We will not contact you until the first week of APRIL***
The CNA class is a 4-6 week program with MCC. While you are taking classes, ECH will sponsor you by paying you an hourly rate. When you are officially graduated, you will have a position at the Church Home!
The Certified Nurse Aide training program is a 120-hour course designed to prepare students with the entry-level skills needed to work as a CNA. The program provides classroom and practical skill instruction at MCC, and clinical experience at an area long term care facility.
State regulations require that students successfully complete 16 hours of instruction in specific areas prior to the start of the clinical rotations. Students who fail to meet this requirement are not allowed to begin clinical rotations and are not eligible to complete the program. The college is not responsible if a student is unable to successfully complete the first 16 hours of class. Finally, students must attend a minimum of 100 hours and achieve a passing grade of 70 or above to sit for the State Exam.
Must have a passion for the medical field, and a friendly personality.
