RETTEW is currently seeking a strong leader for a Survey Party Chief position to support Survey field operations based out of our Pittsburgh and St. Clairsville  office. Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet with Project Managers to determine survey needs
  • Perform boundary, topographic and construction stakeout surveys in the field
  • Calculate a wide variety of survey data
  • Participate in the preparation of computer-generated maps and reports based on survey data
  • Maintain accurate records, files and documentation including field notes
  • Coordinate work activities internally to provide seamless client service

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum experience 2 years Survey related is desired
  • Computer skills with Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel a plus
  • Skill in operating all survey instruments specifically and including Trimble GPS, Robotic Total Stations, Trimble data collectors, and automatic levels
  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time and working in all types of weather conditions outdoors
  • Ability to perform fundamental trigonometry and geometry computations.
