Summary: WH Settlement Specialist review incoming wires from Investors and apply to Purchase advises provided by clients in the Warehouse Lending system “WLS”. This position will also require employees to monitor our Settlements mailbox where clients and MBOI employees alike will need assistance.
Expected Outcomes: WH Settlement Specialist are expected to be detail oriented and work well with others in the group. This position is critical to our operation since we are dealing directly with client’s cash flow on settlements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Enter incoming wires for client’s repayment account
2) Review QC and apply incoming wires to Purchase advises uploaded to our system “WLS”
3) Work directly with clients post-closing teams if there are any issues or mistakes found in our system.
4) Monitor the settlements mailbox with other in the department.
- 0-3 years Mortgage or Banking experience
- Has experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Detail Oriented
- Works well with others in shared group mailbox and IM chat
- Basic computer skills
- Customer service
- High School diploma or GED
