Description
The Next Gen Director partners with the Campus Pastor to create and lead unified discipleship communities across generations from childhood through adulthood.
Essential Functions
- Create and supervise a set of discipleship communities for children, youth and adults
- Train, support, and resource small group community leaders
- Be responsible to identify and invite new volunteers
- Oversee and review all teaching and training content
- As our spiritual family grows, help us adapt our gatherings to match our discipleship needs
- Administer budget responsibilities including purchasing and accounting
- Collaborate with the Campus Pastor to communicate our mission, values, vision and strategic plan
- Engage in community focused initiatives that welcome and build involvement with young families
- Look to meet the needs of our community outside the church
- Participate in the weekend teaching platform
- Aid in creation and execution of strategic plan to create an authentic Christian community
- Create and maintain an operations handbook that details all systems, processes and procedures
- Complete an annual review and update of all operation platforms
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Full alignment and buy-in with CTK mission, values, and statement of belief
- Demonstrate a lifestyle of emotionally healthy spirituality and family life
- Minimum 5 years of vocational ministry experience
- College degree in related field preferred
- Fluent in Mac OS platform and Google Suite
- Ability to develop competence in the following digital tools: Rock database; Planning Center format; ASANA project management platform; Leadr supervisory management platform
